Iris brought me to a community arts class from Temple in Las Parcelas (our biggest garden). The class was taught by artist Pepón Osorio. His students made Puerto Rican food and I got to eat tostones and way too many things with cilantro. yummy.

Iris Brown gardening. Butterfly in the garden! Flowers on my desk from the backyard.
I had a hectic, but busy day. I got to have some good laughs and conversations, however, I am extremely tired. The flowers on my desk make me smile. I wish that I could get the pictures bigger right now, but I’m lazy and already spent too much time on them. The middle picture is small, but there is a big butterfly. Yay.

Today I worked on some graphic design for a newsletter among other things. Here is what I worked on with some dummy text. It’s based on my newsletter for my Info Design and Presentation class- but without the spaceman… Just for fun, here is the spaceman that I designed and used on all of my graphic design work for two years…

I haven’t added all of the pretty pictures yet, but they will come, I promise.
Hmm. I don’t know if that worked. Oh, well, I’ll keep you posted.

More to come, but I wanted to put up some pictures of my place of work!

Claire,
Are the bars on the windows to keep the neighbors out or to keep you in?
