On Monday, August 27th, after much anxiety over moving 4.5 years of packrat living out of our 8th and Lincoln abode, we headed out on the road. Amberlina Lunchbucket and my mom helped enormously with the move and the cleaning.
As we prepared to go, we made a pit stop by Dartmoor and bid adieu to the fam. That was much harder than we both had anticipated. Most likely because my parents were both crying like sissies, Olivia didn’t want a hug, and Collin and Elsa might finally be freeing up some space in the Dartmoor Villa.

Toward the end, as Nat and I were leaving we started chucking stuff out to make room in the car. We left a 10 lb bucket of kitty litter on 8th street. I hope that somebody nabbed it. I think that I got a little teary eyed as I realized that we had been married in that apartment and that we probably wouldn’t ever come back inside of it again.
I’m so excited to finally be leaving Eugene, Oregon. I’ve never done it before. And now I have a job in Philadelphia, PA. My calculations place that at about 2900 miles away. This blog will share our adventures and news!
